Keep it Coming !!!
Christmas is in the air and its another year that my stocking was left empty. Santa failed to turn up this year too.
But but but...
Am not completely without any gifts. Ekan has given me a gift/award 'A present For Your Blog'. Though he had given it to me quite some time back, I take it up now in the occasion of Christmas. However this award has no set rules as on passing to other bloggers and other stuff. But as its Christmas and the best time to gift, I present this to all the blogger am stalking/following. Please accept my humble Present for your Blog and keep blogging. Its a token to say - I njoy reading your blogs.
Now, thats not it.
Blunt Edges has awarded me the "No Name Award". I did think of naming the poor nameless award (It must be feeling bad not having a name and all). But refraining from it, I move on to follow the rules laid down in the award and the tag. The rules are:
1) List 7 things about yourself that nobody knows.
2) Pass on this award to 7 other people.
3) Comment on their blog and let them know that they are tagged.
Hmm.. So 7 things about me that nobody knows:
1). Fancy dress was one of the competitions I have zealously participated throughout my school life(amongst others). When I was in my 8th standard, teachers still used to call me apple, 'cos I won the Fancy Dress Competition in my KinderGarten class fancy dress as an apple (they say I actually looked like one even without the costume.)
2). I cannot sleep without atleast 4 pillows and 2 bedsheets.
3). I share a much deeper bond with Browny than Bruno. Though I love them the same. Browny was my first dog; my companion through my teen years. Bruno came in my life when I started college. Browny was my bestest of best friend and Bruno is my most favourite pet .
4).Other than a Bruno, I have 8 goats at home; 5 of them new born on the 23rd of December 2009. All are pure white with long ears. Though I love to see the cotton balls jump around, I keep a distance 'cos Bruno doesn't like me being too close to the other pets. Talk about possessiveness. Also have a hen and an adopted kitty cat. None of the pets are allowed inside home.
5).I gel in with animals and kids more than the others. I have had several scenes in the bus, when kids in nearby seats get into my lap (m happy about it and I njoy making them laugh- love that gurgling sound and expression) but refuse to let me go even when my stop has arrived.
6). I am very particular about my personal space; physically & emotionally. am in love with that phrase "personal space" too. I can't tolerate people standing too close to me.
7). I am not really in love with insects. I cannot sleep if there is a lizard or spider seen anywhere in my room. Lizards have the tendency to jump near or over me (have always dodged, screamed and ran for my life), spiders just creepes me out. Have always had a nightmare of an ant getting into my ear.I refuse to go to the bathroom the whole night/day if I see even a tiny weeny cockroach there.

firstly a big hi !!!
its the first time am reading ur blog n i tell u wat i think we will gel in soon. u sounds so much like me. pls excuse me for being so lanky-panky with blogging in the recent past. hell lots happening in life and i stayed a bit disturbed. couldnt take out much of a time.

p.s.-Not only am I in love with the Indian Armed forces, but I was a Genleman Cadet at the Officers Training Academy for a very short duration. :) Getting ready for round 2 pretty soon.

3. my cousin had a pet called bruno!
4. whoaaaa...that's a huge list!
5. now we are complete opposites on that front aren't we?
6. now is it strange or what...i never realized till date that even i have that problem unless of course its a cute girl standing next 2 me ;)

@Blunt :yep you have the award for the blog(not for you).
1-try participating.its never late and its worth the embarrassment.
2- he is fully aware. he has a fleet of his own pillows and blankets.either we are gonna end up in separate beds fulfilling our specific needs of pillows & blankets or end up together substituting each others pillow needs. Which one of the two, only time can tell ;)
3-Bruno ki jai!
4- real huge especially when they decide to bleat themselves sore at the break of dawn.
5- absolutely.
6- hehe.for me no exceptions.guys (any, no matter how cute or handsome) are a big NO NO..girls too are intolerable. kids below 5 are ok. :D
7- happy. atlast proved.
